About The Conference

We are delighted to welcome you to the National Conference on New Horizons in Catalysis and Synthesis (NHCS 2027), organized by the National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER), Bhubaneswar. The conference will provide a platform to explore recent advances, emerging concepts and future opportunities in modern catalysis and chemical synthesis.

NHCS 2027 will bring together eminent scientists, established researchers, and young investigators from across the country to share their latest discoveries and perspectives in contemporary chemistry. The conference will encompass diverse yet closely connected areas of organic, inorganic, organometallic, and catalytic chemistry, with an emphasis on innovative approaches to chemical synthesis and selective molecular transformations.

The scientific programme will cover advances in modern synthetic chemistry, organic reaction development, C–H functionalization, cross-coupling and bond-forming reactions, coordination and organometallic chemistry, transition-metal catalysis, homogeneous and heterogeneous catalysis, photocatalysis, electrocatalysis and mechanistic aspects of catalytic reactions. Particular attention will also be given to sustainable and green chemistry, earth-abundant metal catalysis, energy-related transformations, and emerging catalytic strategies for addressing contemporary challenges in chemical synthesis.

Featuring lectures from distinguished scientists and researchers, NHCS 2027 will provide an engaging forum for scientific exchange, collaboration and discussion of emerging directions in catalysis and synthesis. The conference will also offer young researchers, doctoral students and postdoctoral fellows opportunities to present their work through oral and poster presentations, interact with experts, receive valuable scientific feedback and establish new academic collaborations.

Through a combination of plenary and invited lectures, contributed presentations and interactive scientific sessions, NHCS 2027 aims to foster new ideas and collaborations and to highlight the evolving frontiers of catalysis and synthesis.
